Sparks PD Conducts Retails Theft Sting Per SPD: “This weekend, Sparks Police Department’s Neighborhood Police Unit (NPU) partnered with Walmart and Kohl’s in Sparks for a targeted retail theft operation. In this controlled operation, NPU officers arrested 3 subjects and issued 2 other subjects citations. Charges included petit larceny, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Additionally, approximately $1250 of stolen merchandise was recovered during this operation. The Sparks Police Department is committed to combating retail theft and will continue to work with our local businesses conducting future operations.” #sparks #nevada
