Suspect arrested in Lovelock murder The Lovelock Police Department responded to a report of a fight at a home on Cornell Avenue near Meadow Lane. Upon arrival, they found a man who was unresponsive and learned that he had been beaten by Kory Garver, 37. The injured man later passed away. Garver has been booked into the Pershing County jail on charges of open murder and battery causing substantial bodily harm.
